Isle of Man is just an hour by plane from or to the
UK and by ferry it's 3 hours to liverpool.

COURSES:
BA Hons in Business Studies / Business
Administration
Applicants must possess GCSE 'O' Level (or
equivalent) English Language and Mathematics at
Grade C or above. It is not essential to have
previously studied Business subjects.
Students who hold credits for a Higher National
Diploma or Degree may be given exemptions from
individual modules or enter at the beginning of Year
2 or Year 3 subject to approval of Accreditation of
Prior Learning (APL).
Mature students (over 21 years) are warmly invited
to apply, while applications from candidates with
practical work experience who do not hold formal
qualifications are welcomed and candidates will
normally be invited to interview.
MSc International Banking and Finance-
September & February Full-time This programme is
designed to provide an advanced body of knowledge to
professionals who want to develop their careers in
the financial services sector and for individuals
who wish to work in the financial services
sector.
The philosophy of the programme is 'real world'.
This is facilitated through the use of market data
and varied assessment methods. The programme is
designed to enable participants to apply theoretical
concepts and solutions to practical financial and
banking problems.The course starts in September each
year and can be studied on either a full-time or
part-time basis. It may be possible to join the
part-time programme in February at the beginning of
the second semester. International students would
need to be studying on a full-time basis. The
full-time course takes one year to complete.
Normal requirements are:
A degree from a recognised University; or An
equivalent professional qualification, with or
without an initial degree, and work experience; or
Significant work experience at a Managerial level
normally a minimum of five years experience at this
level is required.
MBA Masters in Business Administration-
September & February Full-time The MBA is an
internationally recognised postgraduate and post
experience degree for managers with work experience.
It provides the skills and knowledge relevant for
managers in all sectors of business - including
public, private and not for profit organisations.
This MBA also opens doors to networking
opportunities and offers specialist routes to
provide 'the modern manager' with the tools needed
to accelerate career progression.
The course starts in
September and February each year, and can be studied
on either a full or part-time basis. Inter

MBA entry requirements are:
Candidates must be at
least 25 years; and have:
At least three years appropriate experience; plus
either:
A Degree or equivalent professional qualification;
or:
Candidates over the age of 27 years with relevant
managerial experience may
be admitted without the qualifications specified
subject to AP(E)L.
